On our journey through life, we can become lost and caught up in negative thoughts and feelings. This can change our perception and take us out of balance. It may also affect our well-being by creating problems in our relationships which may lead to anxiety, depression or low self-esteem.

Understanding patterns in our life that cause distress helps facilitate insights into the core of our thinking, our self belief, our behaviour and the imposed limitations to bring about change. Past experiences shape how we view ourselves within key relationships and in society, but they do not have to define our life.

I offer a holistic approach to counselling. We work together in a safe, non judgemental, confidential and trusting environment. You will be listened to with warmth, compassion, empathy and acceptance. Together we will explore and understand your issues more deeply, and you will begin to build resilience and feel empowered to use your own inner wisdom, and access your own inherent ability to grow and develop.

Life will start to unfold for you with more ease and peace, so you start to live a more fulfilling stress free existence, which will transform the way you experience your life.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I embrace several modalities and skills that help me to adapt my counselling approach to suit your individual needs. My experience and training enables me to work to a specific focus or goal(s), as well as exploring personal challenges at a deeper level. I have a calm, empathic and honest approach, and extensive experience of empowering and supporting change for my clients.

I understand how difficult it is to find the right counsellor so I invite you to call me for an initial chat to discuss your needs. This is an opportunity to ask any questions and concerns you may have and to gain a better understanding of the counselling process. Please feel free to contact me by telephone or email me.

I have experience in working with end of life; the fear and anxiety that people face with their mortality. I feel death is a taboo subject in Western society, when it is as important as birth. I also focus on bereavement, helping and supporting people through their grieving process.

I also work with loss in other areas such as; loss of job, loss in relationships/separations, children's loss when parents separate and loss of identity.  I will help you to empower a way forward in life.

I am also able to support you with a wide range of issues such as:

Anger Management
Eating Disorders
Drug Abuse
Emotional Abuse
Life Transitions
Low Self esteem/Confidence
Post Natal Depression
Separation and Divorce
Stress Management
Suicidal thoughts

I do cover other areas so please do contact me.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their ethical framework ensuring good practice.   For more information on the BACP please visit their website at www.bacp.co.uk
